
Spring rolls are a popular to many Chinese and other Far Eastern dishes.
They make a delicious starter or finger food for serving at a party.
Basic spring rolls recipe
Ingredients
-Spring roll skin
-Minced pork
-Shrimp chopped
-Carrot shredded
-Cabbage or bok choi shredded
-Green onion or cilantro
-Garlic
Step 1: Mixing minced pork and shrimp with
oil, salt and pepper, soy sauce.
Step 2: Heat up the pan with some oil and
put all the mixing minced pork and shrimp stir for 2 min.
Step 3: Add the rest of carrot, cabbage and green onion stir-fry
for further minute. Set aside to cool.
Step 4: Take one spring roll wrapper and place a spoonful of
filling then fold up the bottom point over the filling.
Step 5: Fold in each side, roll up tightly and brush the
end with beaten egg to seal.
Step 6: Half-fill a wok with oil and heat to 350F,
deep fry it for 3-4 min. until golden and crisp to serve
with vinegar or mayonnaise ! Yum!
